Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in The Wirral September 2021

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Gladstone Theatre, Wirral on Friday September 24th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the compelling and frank comedian and writer, Daliso Chaponda who came 3rd in 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2017 and then landed himself his own stand-up comedy show on BBC Radio 4. Hailing from Malawi, where his father is a government minister, he started his comedy career in Canada with the much-admired one man show 'Feed This Black Man'. With his ability to talk about anything from politics and religion to romance, he amuses people with his distinctive accent and unique outlook on the world.

Opening the night will be the charismatic and highly talented Sony Award winner, Tom Wrigglesworth, comedian, Radio and TV presenter and voice-over artist who has had two series' on BBC Radio 4. An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they're old friends. His warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion never fail to captivate everyone.

Completing the line-up is 'Britain's Got Talent 2012 Semi-Finalist' the charming Callum Oakley with his clever stories.

Compere for the night will be the likeable and sheepishly mischievous Danny McLoughlin, with his quick wit and clever material he's always one step ahead of the crowd.
