Funhouse Comedy Club returns to David Lloyd, West Bridgford, on Saturday April 23rd for a great night of laughter.
Topping the bill is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle, who came 3rd in the final of Britain's Got Talent 2020 and previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include 'Phoenix Nights', 'Live at the Palladium' and 'Max and Paddy'. Amusing his audiences with his high energy and distinctive talents, there's something for everyone.
Opening the night will be Kevin Dewsbury, talented comedian and actor, who appeared in the film, 'Destination Dewsbury'. His material is a variety of storytelling, observation and one- liners. He has the ability to mimic most accents, which adds profundity to his material. Although from Cheshire, he is often mistaken as being from Yorkshire due to his ridiculous northern accent. Kevin has toured the UK and has also been the support act for Michael McIntyre, Omid Djalili and Russell Howard.
Completing the line-up is Paul Ricketts whose intelligent humour covers all aspects of life including racial, cultural and satirical subjects; he mixes this with odd stories of everyday lunacy to amuse the crowd.
Compere for the night will be the energetic and chatty Spiky Mike.
