Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Towcester June 2025

Funhouse Comedy is back at Towcester Mill Brewery on Thursday June 26th for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is Matt Bragg a master of delivery, with timing that keeps you hanging on the edge and then on the edge again. His dry humour and subtle anecdotes leave the audience listening intently wanting more of the cool, calm, and collected comedian. The son of television warm-up man Bobby Bragg, Matt has been performing stand-up all over the country at some of the largest clubs in the UK, doing warm-up shows with Ricky Gervais and supporting Harry Hill.

Opening the night will be the energetic and satirical writer and comedian Geoff Norcott who recently won a BBC Radio and Music Award for Best Comedy Production and has many TV credits to his name, including Live at The Apollo (BBC 2), The Mash Report (BBC2), Question Time (BBC2) and Comedy Bigmouths (C5). He delivers an eclectic mix of dark material, impressions and politics with a confident smile and optimism. His shrewd standpoints on life make his anecdotes extremely captivating and leave his audiences wanting for more.

Also appearing is the lively and energetic Sam Wyatt, one of the most hotly tipped new acts on the circuit.

Competing the line-up will be stand-up and comedy writer Madeleine Brettingham, recent winner of Bath Comedy Festival new act of the year.

Compere for the night is Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self deprecating and observational humour.
