Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Towcester February 2025

Funhouse Comedy returns to Towcester Mill Brewery on Thursday February 27th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is comedian, metalhead, amateur occultist and musician Andrew O’Neill. Having been in his own words ‘a show off since birth’, he went on to do comedy sketches in school assemblies and make comedy films instead of working for his ‘A’ levels! He is a regular on the comedy stage at various festivals including, Download, Bloodstock and Leeds, as well as having appeared on TV’s ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’. Sharp, artistic and unique, his innate confidence and fondness of absurdity leaves the crowd feeling full of glee.

Opening the night will be Irish comedian Martin Mor. Starting out as a circus entertainer he then decided to turn to stand-up. Having supported Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrott, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner on Tour he is one of the most popular and well-travelled comics on the circuit. His fiery insults often directed at audience members, are accepted with laughter when delivered by this gentle giant of a man.

Also appearing is Hazel Donovan with her mixture of funny observation, smart one liners and storytelling with a surprising twist.

Competing the line-up will be winner of the ND review Disabled Champions Award the sharp, funny and fearless Benny Shakes.

Compere for the night is Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self deprecating and observational humour.
