Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Spalding January 2020

Funhouse Comedy Club starts its new season at South Holland Centre, Spalding on Friday January 31st with a night full of laughter.

Headlining the night will be writer, actor and comedian Barry Castagnola who has written for the likes of BBC’s ‘Ask Rhod Gilbert’, as well as creating characters for Dom Joly’s ITV show, ‘Fool Britannia’. His self-derision and anecdotes about his life cut to the chase, striking a chord with his audiences and his amiable persona never fails to appeal. 

Supporting is 2013 BBC Radio New Comedy Award winner Steve Bugeja, who has supported Russell Kane on tour. Also a comedy writer he has contributed to ‘Mock The Week’, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’ and ‘Russell Howard's Good News’ to name a few. Lively and appealing, he has a gift for matching physical comedy with sharp observations. His somewhat geeky persona is underpinned by his self-deprecating humour.

Completing the line-up will be octogenarian comic, the skilful and sharp Lynn Ruth Miller who even made Simon Cowell laugh with her rap, on Britain’s Got Talent.

Compere for the night is the calm and carefree, writer and stand-up Tony Cowards. His smart and hilariously stupid jokes, always leaves people rolling in the aisles!
