Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Southwell November 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Saracens Head, Southwell on Thursday November 9th, for more fun and laughter. 

Topping the bill is the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of this year's 'Britain's Got Talent'. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance. 

Opening the night will be 2021 British Comedian of the Year Finalist, Greek comedian George Zach who has supported Luisa Omielan on tour. After gaining a degree in England he decided not to return to his home on a Greek Island. Instead, he chose to follow his passion for comedy, live in Newcastle and now entertains audiences with his funny Geordie observations.

Also appearing is the witty and eloquent Ant Dewson, with his musical comedy feast and rhyming riot.

Completing the line-up will be Yorkshire double act The Halls of Ridiculous pushing the boundaries of improv, sketch and character creativity.

Compere for the night is the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
