Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Nuneaton July 2021

Funhouse Comedy is back the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton on Saturday July 31st for a laughter packed night.

Topping the bill is the friendly and mischievous Paul McCaffrey, who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo', BBC 3's 'Impractical Jokers' and 'Russell Howard's Good News' and has supported Michael McIntyre, John Bishop and Lee Mack on tour. With his spontaneous, exuberant accounts and genuine magnetism he captivates his audiences.

Opening the night will be Shazia Mirza, an international award-winning comedian and columnist for the Guardian Weekend magazine who has also guested on 'Have I Got News For You?' From Birmingham, she was previously a science teacher with one of her former pupils being the rapper Dizzee Rascal. Star of radio and TV she has appeared on 'Last Comic Standing', 'Richard and Judy' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Shazia's distinctive act combines a deadpan delivery with observation on her world; her laconic one-liners represent something quite unique in modern comedy.

Completing the line-up is pensively idiosyncratic Jay Handley, who covers a variety of topics combining observations, anecdotes and reality.  

Compere for the night is the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as 'Russell Howard's Good News', 'Celebrity Deal Or No Deal' and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais' 'Extras'.
