Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Market Deeping August 2021

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Coronation Hall, Market Deeping on Saturday August 21st for a night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is Presenter, Broadcaster, Writer, Actor and Comedian Ian Stone. An International comedian, including performing for the troops, he has made numerous TV and Radio appearances including 'Mock The Week', 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and 'Saturday Live'. He wrote for 'The Omid Djalili show' on BBC1, 'The Sketch Show' on ITV and 'Alistair McGowan's Big Impression' on BBC 1. Audiences can't get enough of his edgy and challenging approach, which is supported by a relaxed and excusatory manner.

Opening the night will be Shazia Mirza, an international award-winning comedian and columnist for the Guardian Weekend magazine who has also guested on 'Have I Got News For You?' From Birmingham, she was previously a science teacher with one of her former pupils being the rapper Dizzee Rascal. Star of radio and TV she has appeared on 'Last Comic Standing', 'Richard and Judy' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Shazia's distinctive act combines a deadpan delivery with observation on her world; her laconic one-liners represent something quite unique in modern comedy.

Compere for the night is the calm and carefree, writer and stand-up Tony Cowards. His smart and hilariously stupid jokes, always leaves people rolling in the aisles!
