Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Lutterworth February 2024

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Wycliffe Rooms, Lutterworth on Saturday February 17th for a night full of laughter, as part of The Leicester Comedy Festival.

Topping the bill is the intrinsically funny Lloyd Griffith comedian, choirboy and an 'aspiring' goalkeeper who has supported Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on tour. He has also made numerous TV appearances including 'Live at The Apollo', as regular host on Sky Sports' Soccer AM and on Comedy Central Live at The Comedy Store. As a choirboy in Grimsby, he sang on 'The National Lottery, with Dudley Moore who played the piano. Then later in life sang backing vocals on a Bee Gees album. A professional singer but always a natural jester he turned to stand-up and with his down-to-earth cynicism and lively attitude, he enthrals the crowd.

Opening the night will be the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of this year's 'Britain's Got Talent'. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.

Also appearing finalist in the 2018 English Comedian Of The Year competition and 'So You Think You're Funny' Finalist 2013, the dead pan Tom Taylor. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he boasts an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.

Compere for the night will be the quick-witted and likeable Paul Revill.
