Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Leek January 2025

Funhouse Comedy Club starts the New Year at Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday January 9th with a night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is the animated Sean Heydon, one of the country's premier comedy magicians, who has appeared on various TV shows, including Britain's Got Talent where he got a unanimous 4 yesses from the judges and Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show, as the resident illusionist. With his unique style, he captivates the crowds, often receiving standing ovations.

Opening the night will be the unique and distinctive Paul Tonkinson who has been a special guest on Michael McIntyre's live UK tours, on his global arena tour playing to millions across the globe and on BBC's ‘Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow'. Known for his effervescent physicality and skilful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for quite a formidable talent.

Completing the line-up is the cheeky, wonderfully engaging Eddy Midgley who attempts to find humour in his most chaotic stories and scrapes.

Compere for the night will be the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone's face. Talking a lot about the subjects closer to home such as family life and friends.
