Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Grantham December 2022

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom on Thursday December 29th for a night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is slightly camp, middle-class funnyman Hal Cruttenden. Having a background in professional acting he has made numerous TV appearances, including 'Live at The Apollo', 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow', 'The Royal Variety Performance', 'The Rob Brydon Show', 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief', 'Would I Lie To You', 'Sunday Night at the Palladium', 'Mock The Week', 'The Great British Bake Off - Extra Slice', 'Celebrity Squares', and Pointless Celebrities. With his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance.

Opening the night will be Alfie Moore who has appeared on ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Following the success of the first series on BBC Radio 4 of 'It's a Fair Cop' in 2014, it is now in its sixth series. A police sergeant, he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache.

Also appearing is plummy, funny and firey, Diane Spencer, an award-winning comedian with a rapidly growing YouTube channel of over 10K subscribers and 1 million views. She has performed worldwide including The Laugh Factory and world famous Improv (LA), received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and appeared on several TV programmes including Red Light Comedy Live from Amsterdam.

Completing the line-up will be Funhouse Comedy Gong Show winner Peter Edge, with his entertaining personal tales.

Compere for the night is the lively and likeable Spiky Mike.
