Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy night in Derby September 2021

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Old Bell Hotel, Derby on Friday September 3rd for another great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is Mandy Muden the only woman ever to combine comedy and magic on the UK comedy circuit. She has appeared on numerous TV programmes including most recently ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' where the judges loved her and gave her a standing ovation, taking her through to the semi-finals; as well as 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me' and 'The World's Greatest Magic'. Her string of mad, disastrous tricks and ridiculous jokes leaves her audience in tears of laughter.

Opening the night will be the affable Ben Norris who has appeared on TV's 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks' and 'Mock the Week' as well as being the voice on campaigns for Carling and Emirates. Once when he was the warm-up man for 'Mock the Week' he had to stand in for Frankie Boyle who was rushed to hospital. A natural comedian, his sharp mind-set and supply of clever lines are delivered with warmth and exuberance.

Completing the line-up is the deliberately awkward and wooden Harvey Hawkins, with his uniquely funny style. 

Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for 4 years running, who enthrals the crowd with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
