Funhouse Comedy Club launches the new season with another great night of laughter, at The Old Bell Hotel, Derby on Friday January 31st.
Topping the bill is comedian and script writer Sean Percival. His brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny way. His down to earth act is bang up to date with its upfront attitude, no long stories, just gags galore.
Opening the night will be the unique duo Brian Damage and Krysstal. Very popular on the comedy circuit with their unconventional vaudeville-style act, their sometimes bawdy humour is punctuated by silly songs, dancing and plenty of jokes. Before they teamed up Brian was a musician and Krysstal an actress in Australia. Brian is infamously grumpy and deadpan, while his assistant Krysstal is glamorous but ditzy. The combination is very funny and definitely something that you won't forget.
Completing the line-up is appealing 'Brummie' Craig Deeley, who has supported Sarah Millican on tour, he shares his imaginative and amusing perspective on life, mixed with modest self-deprecation.
Compere for the night is co-star of the recently released 'The ParaPod Movie' Barry Dodds, and winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards 2015, 2016 and 2017, who captivates his audiences with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
