Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Coalville, Leics, February 2024

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Newmarket, Coalville on Saturday February 24th, as part of The Leicester Comedy Festival.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."

Topping the bill is the very lively and genial Gerry K, a 2023 finalist in the prestigious British Comedian of the Year competition. Having performed stand-up all over the world he still found time to fit in some TV appearances and you may recognise his face from TV's 'The Bill' and 'FHM Comedy Heroes'. His humorous stories and factual tales are told with a 'twinkle in the eyes' and leave his audiences crying with laughter.

Opening the night will be Scottish funnyman Kevin Daniel one of the fastest rising stars on the Midlands circuit with hilarious, relatable material going down a storm at clubs across the region. His commanding stage presence, exquisite storytelling and quips aplenty always leave audiences wanting more.

Completing the line-up is Edi Johnston with his unique and hilarious songs. 

Compere for the night will be the cheeky and friendly Stevie Gray with his boundless energy and mix of news and comedy.
