Friends of Father Baker Reception

The Friends of Father Baker Reception returns and will spotlight five extraordinary honorees who have given to our community in the compassionate spirit of Venerable Nelson Baker...

- Paul Bauer, Thomas Beecher, Jr. and Chris Jacobs are co-founders of the BISON Fund that provides tuition assistance to needy families who wish to send their children to local Catholic schools.
- David Zapfel, president and chief executive officer of Gerard Place, a local non-profit that provides support and housing for single-parent families who have experienced poverty, homelessness and/or domestic or substance abuse.  
- Ryan Harrington, a student at Canisius College, who has served as a dedicated volunteer for a number of charitable organizations.

The 42nd annual event features a new venue, Hotel @ the Lafayette, and is sure to be a great night. For more information, check out www.friendsoffatherbaker.org. Proceeds will benefit the mission of Father Baker's legacy of caring, the OLV organizations.
