The Fraser River Basin, one of the world's largest salmon-producing river systems, is at the heart of British Columbia. It is B.C.'s longest river, traveling nearly 1,400 km from the Rockies to the Salish Sea. The Fraser Basin drains more than 25% of B.C.'s land, supports more than two-thirds of the population, is the ancestral home of eight indigenous language groups, and contributes significantly to B.C.'s overall economic and social well-being.

The Fraser Basin Council is a non-profit organization devoted to fulfilling its vision for sustainability in the Fraser Basin and across the province. But how can one organization facilitate positive change in a province with such diverse regions and perspectives, particularly during challenging times?

Join us online for this free presentation to hear firsthand how the Fraser Basin Council facilitates work toward a sustainable future for all British Columbians. You'll learn:
- What sustainability means to the council
- Why the council fosters collaborative dialogue as an alternative to divisive debate to create unlikely coalitions for sustainability action
- How the council's collaborative model is being applied to real-world scenarios such as Lower Mainland flood management, ensuring the safety of river users through waterborne wood debris management and the port authority-led ECHO Program
- Steps you can take toward fostering sustainability collaboration in your workplace and in your community
