Forever Learning will again host the best trivia event in Michiana on Friday, February 9, at 6:00 p.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church Parish Center.
"Our annual Trivia Night has been very successful, and we are excited to continue this tradition," said Eve Finnessy, Forever Learning Institute Executive Director. "A trivia contest fits so well with our mission of lifelong learning, and we have a number of teams that return each year to vie for the top spot. Great competition and a lot of fun!"
The South Bend non-profit has been serving area senior adult learners since 1974 with courses taught by volunteer instructors covering just about every topic imaginable, from academics and culture to health and fitness.
Sponsored by 1st Source Bank, Gurley-Leep Automotive, The Village of Arborwood, and Visiting Angles of Michiana, the general knowledge trivia event will support FLI's mission to improve the quality and dignity of senior adult life through continuing intellectual challenge, spiritual reflection, and social interaction. Forever Learning is offering over 85 courses for the Spring 2024 semester and expects to attract close to 1,000 students.
Advanced registration is required. Teams may register at ForeverLearningInstitute.org. Registration for the trivia contest is $100 a team, with a maximum of eight members per team. The event will include ten rounds of ten general trivia questions. A cash bar will be available for beer, wine, and soft drink purchases. Teams may bring their own snacks. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the contest begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9, at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 Ironwood Road, South Bend. Contact Forever Learning Institute at 574/282-1901 for more information.
