You are one of over 500,000 family forest owners in Virginia. Whether you own 5 acres or 5,000 acres, the decisions you make to keep your forest healthy and productive have a big impact on the wellbeing of the commonwealth.

Your healthy forest provides clean water and air, stores carbon, protects soils, houses wildlife, showcases scenic vistas, and provides a source of sustainable wood products.

Many of you have attended forest landowner education events.

Many of you have hosted educational programs.

All of you love your land.

To thank you, the Virginia Forest Landowner Education Program, the Virginia Tech Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation, and the Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources and Environment invite you to join us in the first ever Forest Landowner Extravaganza!
