Florida Tiger Bay Clubs 2020 Election Series: Ten Tiger Bay Clubs from across Florida, comprised of the Central Florida, First Coast, Flagler, Gold Coast, Manatee, St. Johns, South County (Venice), Suncoast, Tampa and Volusia County Tiger Bay Clubs will present the forums free of charge as a public service.
The Florida Tiger Bay Clubs Election Series 2020 forums will be livestreamed starting at noon on the Flagler Tiger Bay Club's website at www.FlaglerTigerBayClub.com and via Facebook Live on the Flagler Tiger Bay Club Facebook page, as well as the Tiger Bay Club of Volusia County's website at www.tigerbayvolusia.org.
Flagler Broadcasting will also carry the forums live on WNZF NewsRadio during the noon hour on 94.9 FM.
"Tiger Bay Clubs are nonpartisan, do not endorse candidates, nor do they take sides on issues. Our goal is to help educate voters in Flagler County and across Florida so they can make their best-informed voter decisions," said Greg Davis, President of the Flagler Tiger Bay Club.
The online forums will kick off Friday, October 9th at noon with a panel discussion on Amendment 3, which would establish a top-two, regardless of party, open primary system in the primary elections, for state legislators, governor and cabinet.
Confirmed panelists are former U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire (pro), Florida State Senator and Republican Party of Florida Chairman Joe Gruters (against), Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Terrie Rizzo (against), and Glenn Burhans, Jr. of All Voters Vote (pro).
*These forums are open to the public and registration is not required.*
