Florida, a play by Dick Reichman, is a poignant look at aging, missed connections and the misunderstandings that develop between people who are separated by wealth, status, class, race and age. The play takes place in a community on Florida’s Gold Coast where wealthy retirees spend their waning years served by workers struggling to make a living. The play follows four people of diverse backgrounds who are unexpectedly thrown together. Unlikely friendships form as the four confront the biases that had shaped their lives.
