Cyrano’s Art Gallery, 3800 Debarr, is open Thursdays and Fridays from noon-4pm and during all CTC performances.
Zirrus VanDevere was born in upstate NY and adventured to Kasilof after receiving a BFA from SUNY Oswego where she fell deeply in love with all things Alaskan. She added a Bachelor’s of Secondary art education at KPC but chose instead a career in art curation, gallery and frame shop ownership, and supported local art through volunteerism as well as a weekly column in the independent Redoubt Reporter. She has two grown children who also happily call the Kenai Peninsula home. Creating art has been and will continue to be a consistent need in her life.
