Father's Day Summer Family Fun Day and Car Show

Summer Family Fun Days are back, courtesy of our friends at ConocoPhillips Alaska! We have one of these fun community days each month in the summer, with the first one falling on Father's Day. Get out in the Great Alaskan Outdoors and bring the dads in your life to the zoo to make great memories. Dads have free zoo entry. Everyone else pays regular zoo rates or uses their zoo membership. If you are not a member, become one today!

Father's Day Activities, 12-6pm at the Alaska Zoo: Antique Auto Mushers of Alaska Car Show - zoo parking lot. Kona Ice, High Five Hand Pies and Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop. 12pm-1:30pm: Live music on the lawn by Tyler Alaska. 2-4pm: Live music on the lawn by Juicy Harps. Crafts and games on the lawn. Community partners with booths or activities: Make a Wish Alaska, Girls on the Run, Camp Fire Alaska, Antique Auto Mushers of Alaska, The Workshop, Kidding Around Yoga by Dietrich, Habitat for Humanity, Bird Treatment and Learning Center, Alaska Geographic, Anchorage Waterways Council and The Alaska Club. Volunteer trail talks with extra animal enrichment at the brown bear (1pm), bald eagle (3pm) and moose (5pm) habitats. Cotton Candy for sale from the cabin at the old zoo entrance. Petting Zoo from 1-3pm.
