The Black Hills Group of the Sierra Club is sponsoring a fall foliage hike at 9:30 am on Oct 7. We will meet at the Silver City trailhead. From Rapid go west on hwy 44 to US385 then north a mile to the Silver City Road. Go left. Wind around for about 3 mi. Pass Silver City turn and go straight on gravel road to trail head. There is no cell service there. We should be able to hike 5 miles round trip. There is bridge construction after that. Bring water and a snack.
