An Evening of Divertimentos and Dressage

After resounding support from our first annual Evening of Divertimentos and Dressage in October 2019, the Spartanburg Philharmonic is thrilled to partner with Brooke USA Foothills Regional Advisory Council on the return of the upstate's most unique music event to the Motlow Creek Equestrian Center in Campobello, SC.

Longtime Philharmonic Flutist and Regional Advisory Council Chair, Sally Frick, created the event from the seed of her combined passions: classical music and horses. It took on a life of its own, growing into a meaningful and memorable performance. Join Brooke USA Foundation and the Spartanburg Philharmonic for an engaging evening of Divertimentos and Dressage. This fundraiser will support global animal welfare and vulnerable communities who depend on their working equines for survival, as well as the continuing and expanding programs of the Spartanburg Philharmonic.

Join the Brooke USA Foothills Regional Advisory Council for a benefit concert unlike any other. On Thursday, October 21, the equestrian center will transform the starry night into an evening of music and dancing, with a twist. Under the cover of the beautifully lit arena, the live Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra will play their instruments to the choreographed movements of dressage horses, making Divertimentos and Dressage the event you have been waiting to experience.

Divertimentos and Dressage is an exciting event that brings together people who genuinely want to make a difference by raising funds for Brooke USA Foundation and the Spartanburg Philharmonic. The night will kick off with registration opening at 6 p.m., and will be accompanied by an open bar and hors' d'oeuvres, providing the perfect opportunity for supporters to network and enjoy the bridging of the two causes.

At 7 p.m., guests will take their seats to enjoy the evening's performances, consisting of musical freestyles by Brooke USA Foundation Ambassador JJ Tate, as well as performances by Jessica Davis, Ashley Perkins, Trayce Doubek, Tazma Toi Trent and Julio Mendoza.

Brooke USA Foundation strives to alleviate the suffering of working horses, donkeys and mules, and the people they serve in the developing world. The Spartanburg Philharmonic enriches, inspires and educates the public through live performances of high-quality music.

Recommended dress code is casual attire with comfortable or flat shoes.

- The event takes place in a covered, outdoor arena.
- Limited tickets are available to allow our guests to practice social distancing.
- Ticket holders are encouraged to practice social distancing by sitting in groups of no more than 6; feel free to create your own group.
- Masks are recommended for all guests and will be worn by staff and volunteers throughout the event.
