Eureka Springs Plein Air Festival 2025

The stunning natural beauty and Victorian architectural elegance of Eureka Springs and Holiday Island is the backdrop for local and visiting outdoor painters to capture on canvas May 4-8th. $5,000 in prizing is up for grabs and only 50 spots are available.

Early Bird Registration of ONLY $149 until Midnigh, April 20th includes five full days of 4 x paint outs, 1 x quick draw, 2 x three-hour workshops and a nightly reception and public viewing. Each night at the Museum of Eureka Springs Art (MESA) painters can sell their submissions and vie for daily and overall prizes.

Featured demo/workshops are with renown New Orleans plein air, cityscape, landscape and published artist Phil Sandusky; and Eureka Springs nationally recognized landscape artist Paul O'Neill.

ESPAF25 also offers a dedicated Youth Day-Long Workshop for 12-18 year olds complete with supplies, lunch and $250 in prizes with Amber Leibee of Adventure Art on May 4th. Plus there are still a few spots left for the 3-Day Add-On Workshop with Phil Sandusky, May 1-3.

Organized by the Plein Air Painters of Eureka Springs (PAPES) and taking place during the May Festival of the Arts, ALL levels of artists are invited to participate. Whether a beginner, amateur or professional, the Eureka Springs Plein Air Festival 2025 promises an unforgettable experience surrounded by natural beauty, artistic inspiration and camaraderie. Participants will explore various painting locations, including scenic vistas, enchanting architecture, crystal clear lakes, tranquil springs and vibrant gardens, all within the surroundings of Eureka Springs and area.
