Over 2 days, you’ll learn how to build emotionally intelligent websites, apps, content, and campaigns based on the psychology and neuroscience of user emotion, motivation, cognition, and behavior.
Through plain-language lessons and hands-on exercises, participants will deepen their understanding of how emotions shape behavior while advancing their ability to build empathetic and engaging technologies.
Participants will learn emotional design strategies to manage users' stress and drive product engagement through distinct emotional systems. Students also learn how to avoid design patterns that accidentally trigger unpleasant emotions and manage negative emotions when they arise.
By the end of this course, participants will know how to use emotional design strategies to boost user engagement, usability, and conversions through the design of emotionally evoking technologies.
