Adapted from the Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol", the bilingual play is written and directed by El Paso native Felix Arenas.  Based in 1985 El Paso, "El Chuco Christmas" includes Chicano-speak, music of the 80s, living in the border themes, and imagery from our area. El Chuco is an old nickname for El Paso from the 1930s that Mexican-American residents gave the region.  The production is by Los Actores, El Paso’s only bilingual theatre company.  For more information, call 915-562-1503.
