This public event will be a dialogue between historian Patricia Sullivan and ASU historian Derryn Moten. Both scholars will discuss and situate Robert F. Kennedy's relationship with Alabama, the Civil Rights Movement, and Alabama State University students and faculty during the 1950s and 1960s. This book discussion is a part of the Clifford and Virginia Durr lecture series, which began 30 years ago in 1992. The annual event focuses on history and social justice, inspired by the legacy of Clifford and Virginia Durr. The event will be held at Ralph Abernathy Hall on the campus of Alabama State University.
