Join us for a day of fun and golf! CYFIP2 Network, a local Harnett County nonprofit, is hosting a golf tournament fundraiser at Carolina Trace on April 6th at 8am! Golf, awards and drinks for participants! CYFIP2 Network supports children, families and research of CYFIP2 Early Infantile Epileptic Encephalopathy (a rare and severe neurodevelopmental and epileptic condition with no currently approved treatments). Funds raised through this event are benefitting laboratory studies to test promising identified therapies! We are working with several research organizations to progress treatment research, one being located right here in the Triangle area! Those affected by rare diseases and conditions often struggle to find support and the push for approved treatments is often lacking. Parents and families are often the ones who help the research get to a point where it can then qualify for federal funding. With the help of our local community, it is our hope to do exactly this, while raising awareness and building a community of support for those affected by CYFIP2 Early Infantile Epileptic Encephalopathy.
