DOWNTOWN CLEAN-UP by the Clean-Up Victoria Society

The Clean-Up Victoria Society is excited to announce the upcoming DOWNTOWN CLEAN-UP event, taking place on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This initiative encourages local residents and businesses to come together to keep Victoria's downtown clean, green, and beautiful.

This event is proudly sponsored by Island Junk Solutions and Solve Energy Inc., locally owned businesses committed to responsible waste management and environmental sustainability. Their support helps provide essential supplies and resources, ensuring a successful and impactful clean-up effort.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, March 15, 2025

Location: Centennial Square, Victoria, BC

Start Time: 10:00 a.m.

End Time: 12:00 p.m.

Prize Giveaway: A special gift basket from local small businesses will be awarded to one lucky participant at the conclusion of the event.

How It Works:

Participants will be assigned designated clean-up routes throughout downtown Victoria, collecting litter and improving the city's environment. Volunteers will return to Centennial Square by noon for closing remarks and the prize giveaway. All necessary supplies, including gloves and trash bags, will be provided.

"This event is a great way for individuals and businesses to come together and take pride in our city, ensuring a cleaner and more vibrant community for everyone."

Safety and Accessibility:

The event welcomes participants of all abilities, with accessibility considerations in place. Volunteers will receive a safety briefing, including proper disposal of hazardous materials, and a licensed first aid attendant will be on-site for minor medical needs.
