We are meeting in-person – again! This time it’s at MS Reactor in the center of London. The event will also be online and we will share the link as we get closer to the event.
We are super excited to welcome Sefik Ilkin Serengil to talk about his use of graph technologies to enhance face recognition and Andrés Ortiz to discuss GraphQL library for Neo4j
Talk #1: We will see a brief introduction to the GraphQL library for Neo4j, and will a live example of how to build a GraphQL server for your Neo4j database, test it with the GraphQL toolbox and some of the built-in features of the GraphQL for Neo4j library.
Speaker: Andrés Ortiz (@angrykoala on GitHub) is a software developer in the GraphQL team at Neo4j since 2020 and an open source software contributor. He is also an amateur magician, and enjoys cataloguing the beers he tries in his own database.
Talk #2 : Face recognition models have already reached and surpassed human level accuracy. Still, traditional approaches in use are lacking in regards to face recognition. Here, graphs help us to find out hidden relationships. In this talk/workshop, we are going to use a deepface and Neo4j pair to get an excellent score in facial recognition.
Speaker: Sefik Ilkin Serengil received his MSC in Computer Science from Galatasaray University in 2011. Currently, he is a software engineer at Vorboss, London. He has been writing technical tutorials at his personal blog sefiks.com about machine learning and programming. He also contributed many open source projects such as deepface, retinaface and chefboost.
