Dance Generation Presents Cafe Mambo Classics 2021

The star-studded lineup is made up of Roger Sanchez, special guests Saxophonist Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago, The Shapeshifters, Ferreck Dawn and Cafe Mambo resident Danny O! 

Grammy award winning House music DJ, Producer and Remixer Roger Sanchez heads up the evening. Roger has held prominent residencies on the island of Ibiza since the year 2000 at some of the biggest superclubs on The White Isle, including Pacha, Space and Amnesia. He has a strong connection with dance music brand Defected, and has continuously played sell out shows across all five continents over the last 20+ years. His sets are most certainly not to be missed, and dance music fans across Durham will no doubt be extremely happy to see him playing so close to home. 

Next up on the bill are much loved Saxophonist and DJ duo and special guests Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago. Often found over Summer months bringing sunset vibes at Cafe Mambo, they are an act everybody loves to see. Laura is a hugely talented Saxophonist, playing faultless renditions of classic tracks and club anthems alongside her partner Ben on the decks. Strictly good vibes only with this duo! 

The Shapeshifters will then be taking to the stage. With musical trends always changing and evolving around us, it's a testament to the real quality of The Shapeshifters to have sustained a successful career in house music for over 15 years! Best known for their anthem 'Lola's Theme' , their music and sets consist of funky basslines, joyous brass sections, warm Rhodes pianos and sensuous vocals! One highly infectious combination that will undoubtedly have you dancing all night long.

Ferreck Dawn is next up on the bill, the deep house and tech house music Producer and DJ has been on the scene for over 18 years now and has had releases on Defected, Toolroom and Mother. His high energy sets will have the crowd going wild once he takes to the decks. 

Warming up on the evening will be Cafe Mambo resident Danny O. Having spent multiple seasons over on the White Isle, he certainly knows a tune when he hears one and will no doubt be hitting all in attendance with only the finest of tracks from the moment they arrive. 

Rainton Arena is located in the Durham area of the North-East of England. An indoor 2000 capacity indoor event venue that is well known in the area for its versatility and also for being one of the largest event venues in the North-East! The venue will be fully kitted out on the night to ensure the full Ibiza experience for all in attendance. 

There is no doubting that this event will be a total sell out in a short space of time, the combination of one of the world's most iconic Dance music brands with this star-studded lineup leaves absolutely no doubt that this will be a huge event that is most definitely not to be missed!
