The recipes and rituals may vary from culture to culture but the instinct to soothe grieving with food is a universal practice around the world. We'll travel the world to explore recipes, customs, and their significance and then focus on one cultural dish. Emily Oppenheim from Vetri Community Partnership will join us to bring culinary expertise and lead the cooking demonstration.
This talk and cooking demonstration will take place on Tuesday, July 28 at 6:00pm, virtually through a Zoom meeting. A What to Expect email will be sent to all ticket holders before the talk starts with information on how to log in. (Please note, tickets will be on sale until 5 pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.)
Ticket pricing is $15/General Admission, $13/Seniors (65 and Up), $13/Students with ID, and $10/Members.
