Crosby Mansion Open House

Discover the secret in back of "Tawasentha" which is the name that Albert and Matilda Crosby gave to their Brewster residence.
The mansion had gravity flush commodes, a battery powered communication system, steam heat, hot and cold running water,
and gas lighting, all of which were considered state of the art in 1888. In addition see original Japanese leather paper, a coffered ceiling, British ceramic tile, a partial barrel vault, flashed glass and much more. There is a commanding view of Cape Cod Bay from the 3rd floor balcony.
