Crash Ride Snare

What connects a drummer with one of the seminal all female punk bands with a male artist who filled Charles Saatchi's gallery with used engine oil and another artist who built a150 ft submarine from car tyres. ? 
They and  24 other drummer artists are all exhibiting in 
CRASH RIDE SNARE.
The first iteration took place at Tension Fine Art in south London in 2023. The second outing was at Cornerstone Gallery Liverpool Hope University Oct 2024 and now it is set to ride again at Burgh Hall Dunoon.
The only theme or link between the works is that they were all created by drummers.  Artist drummers from the seminal days of Punk and Post Punk such as Palmolive and June Miles- Kingston, who played for The Slits and Jimmy Sommerville. Indie rockers Teenage Fanclub's Francis Macdonald has contributed a drawing of famous comedian from the 1960/70s Marty Feldman. Nick Cash played with Fad Gadget and is now drumming with The Members.
