Mahtowin Munro (Lakota) is the longtime co-leader of United American Indians of New England and founded the statewide Indigenous Peoples Day MA campaign as well as the MA Indigenous Legislative Agenda. The Indigenous Agenda is a coalition that works to file and pass Indigenous-centered bills at the State House. Ms. Munro will speak about the five current bills and the overall need for non-Native people to support Indigenous tribal sovereignty and caretaking of the land.
