The Community Coalition for Social Justice invites you to join us to explore the theme of "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" during our Sixteenth Annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Celebration on Monday, January 17, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Main Street Morgantown co-sponsors this family-friendly event, while the City of Morgantown provides financial support.
We are pleased this year to be working with the West Virginia University Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) to provide this program via OLLI's Zoom and Facebook Live platforms. This year's program features students from Mylan Park Elementary School, North Elementary School, and Cheat Lake Elementary School; WVU Paul Robeson Mahalia Jackson Gospel Choir; Al Anderson, soloist; WVU Chamber Singers; Morgantown/Kingwood Branch of the NAACP; and community leaders.
To watch the presentation on Facebook Live, on the day of the event, go to https://www.facebook.com/olliatwvu.
To use Zoom, you must pre-register at https://olliatwvu.wufoo.com/forms/x24y6z01kh3png/. The Zoom will start about ten minutes prior to the event.
