Headliner Rick Gene is a stand-up comic from San Diego, California who recently relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio.
He has performed numerous overseas tours for the troops and was a host of The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. He was also the Head Writer and host of a sketch comedy radio show called "Keeping It Weird", which ran for several years on different FM radio stations around San Diego.
He started at The World Famous Comedy Store and was made a Regular by owner Mitzi Shore the first time she saw him.

Rick has performed stand-up at the San Diego, Palm Springs and Orange County Comedy Festivals and has been selected as one of the Top 101 comics at the Main Event of The World Series of Comedy multiple times. He is also a member of The Veterans of Comedy, a group of military veteran comedians who have performed all over the world and in just about every state in the U.S.
During the 2020 pandemic, Rick wrote and animated the film, "There Goes The Neighborhood", which has been accepted to the Cannes World Film Festival, The IndieFEST Film Festival and the Venice Short Film Festivals.
Rick is the creator and writer of "KIWTV", which is an animated sketch comedy series on Amazon Prime (and a ROKU channel). In addition, he was a writer and cast member for the long-running "West Coast Funnies", which was the west coast's answer to "Saturday Night Live".

Rick Gene's act has been described as "clean and edgy" and "original and hilarious" by comedy bookers and audiences.
