Coastal County Oktoberfest

Prost! It's that time of year when we break out the steins and raise them in a cheerful toast to honor a historic Bavarian tradition... Oktoberfest! And you know that here at Coastal County Brewing Company, we like to do it RIGHT with a killer party to mark the occasion. The 4th Annual CCB Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 9th as a full-day celebration to kick back and enjoy all the BEER necessities!

We're planning heaps of festive attire, fun competitions, authentic eats, face-painting, and specialty brews that will make you feel as if you've just landed yourself in Munich! And we'll have plenty of extra staff on hand to keep your steins filled to the brim so that you never have to miss a moment of the action!

In addition to our normal line-up, we will feature many of the more traditional Bavarian beer styles that set this time of year apart from any other. These recipes will include, but are not limited to:

Oktoberfest
Kellerbier
German Leichtbier
Helles Lager
Hefe-Weizen
Kolsch
Gose
Berliner Weiss
European Amber Lager
Czech-Style Pilsner

And you can let your competitive spirit out to play as we host some rousing drinking games, complete with some great CCBC prizes. Our Competition Schedule will include:

- Women's Stein Hoist
- Men's Keg Hoist
- Keg Toss
- Costume Contest
- Sausage Toss
- Weiner Swing

The competitions will be held from 2 to 6pm, and the lucky winners that conquer first place in each event will get to take home a $25 CCBC Gift Card. Plus, in between the rounds, you can dance your heart out to some lively live music in the Beer Garden as Joey Collins opens the festivities from 1 to 5pm, followed by The Flavors rounding out the evening from 6 to 10pm.

The CCBC Oktoberfest promises to be an amazing day full of Bavarian-style delights, and it's only right around the corner... so mark your calendars, loosen up your lederhosen, and let's get ready to party!
