Cinderella Ballet

Experience the timeless story of Cinderella in this grand production, performed by pre-professional and professional dancers of Russian Ballet Orlando. Audiences of all ages will marvel at the magic and wonderment of this stunning classical ballet.

Cinderella is a ballet composed by Sergei Prokofiev between 1940 and 1944. It is one of his most popular and melodious compositions, and has inspired a great many choreographers since its inception. The premiere of the ballet took place in 1945, at the Bolshoi Theatre, with choreography by Rostislav Zakharov and Galina Ulanova in the title role. Cinderella is notable for its jubilant music, lush scenery, and for the comic double-roles of the step-sisters.

It is not only an educational experience for the dancers, but a thrilling performance for audiences of all ages"

Cinderella will be performed as part of Russian Ballet's Historic Theater Tour, underwritten in part by United Arts of Central Florida. Additional events include VIP seating with a Meet & Greet at Mt. Dora Community Building on April 17th, 2021, 2:00 pm. Tickets range from $35 to $55.
