This initial convening seeks to bring together many different voices, including people living with dementia and their care partners, artists, and professionals working in the fields of aging and dementia to share space and time to consider the pressing question of how we create a better world in which to grow old.
You can expect facilitated conversations and break-out groups, collaborative creative practice, and lots of opportunities to see, experience, and discuss some of the most exciting work that's happening in the Bay Area. We hope to pave the way for future collaboration and community-building, and we'd love it if YOU were there!
This celebration, scheduled from 1pm-6pm on Wednesday, June 12, allows attendees to engage with work done for the Dementia Inclusive Communities Initiative between September 2018-June 2019. Attendees are welcome to attend any and all of the sections. There is no cost to attend.
