Cap-and-Invest: A Climate Pollution Reduction Strategy

Join Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) and Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) for a virtual public meeting that will introduce cap-and-invest as a strategy to cut Vermont's climate pollution. You will learn about a study to consider the potential benefits and impacts to Vermonters.

A cap-and-invest program would place a declining cap on greenhouse gas emissions and reinvest the proceeds in energy efficiency and clean energy.
