Why should you care: The Kingdom of Morocco is the United States of America's longest unbroken and continuous ally. Morocco officially recognized the United States in 1786 signing a treaty of Peace and Friendship in 1786. This friendship and mutual support have been unbroken. Moroccan Americans are woven into the greater fabric of America. The Kingdom of Morocco has stood with the US for over 200 years. Our two nations have provided mutual support since the beginning of America. It is right and just that we support Morocco in time of need.

The dinner will be a rally for support and will feature prominent members of the community to include:

Irshad Altheimer, RIT Professor:
Mohamed Albanna, Co-Founder of WNY Access
Zeynep Selma Guney,
Lieutenant Colonel Andrae Evans, US Army Retired

The people of Rochester are generous, and care about their friends and allies. Said Sam Belsheine, local entrepreneur, and business owner. Belsheine immigrated to the United States in 1988. All proceeds will go to help the earthquake victims in Morocco. You can also donate directly to EMBRACE RELIEF. https://www.embracerelief.org/donation/usa-moroccan-relief.

We are asking all media to please help us get the word out about this worthy cause.
