The seventh annual Purcellville Cabin Fever Film Festival featuring 17 films will be held Friday, January 26 and Saturday, January 27 at the Franklin Park Visual and Performing Arts Center. This festival highlights films made by Loudoun County residents. The theme for this year's festival is "Connections." Prizes are sponsored by the Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center, the Purcellville Arts Council, and Franklin Park Arts Center, and will be awarded for winners in the categories of Best in Theme, Festival Favorite, and Most Likely to Break Cabin Fever. Each winner will receive $500 and a trophy hand-crafted by a local artist. Break that cabin fever in late-January and enjoy the seventh year of Purcellville's only film festival!
Four of the 17 films will be shown Friday, January 26 starting at 7 p.m. All film makers will be presented with a certificate before the reception. Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 13 films will be shown. After all films have been shown on Saturday, members of the audience will vote to help determine the "Festival Favorite." The winners will receive their trophies on Saturday after all of the films have been shown and votes tallied. Both days of the festival will be live-streamed.
