Building Bridges Through Music - National Arab Orchestra Takht Ensemble

The National Arab Orchestra Takht Ensemble (NAOTE) hosts two performances, featuring seven world-class musicians and national vocalist Usama Baalbaki and conducted by Michael Ibrahim, Music Director and talented nay (flute) player. "Building Bridges through Music" is a DreamWeek event and seeks to raise public awareness of our unity as a community through diversity.  

Karen Barbee, prominent local choreographer and owner of Karavan Studio, and three of her dance colleagues will perform to the live music of the NAOTE. The NAO will premiere their newly established local youth choir, NAO Community Choir of San Antonio, in collaboration with the NAOTE.  Debbie Mery Fernandez directs the choir in San Antonio.
