The event promises to be an enlightening experience for all attendees, with Lama Anyen Rinpoche sharing his wisdom and insights on Tibetan Buddhism.
A separate weekend program will follow, featuring a day and a half of meditation instruction and practice, teachings on facing suffering, aging, illness with patience and courage, and gentle yoga. About Anyen Rinpoche: Anyen Rinpoche is an esteemed teacher in the Longchen Nyingthik lineage of Nyingma Tibetan Buddhism. He was recognized as a reincarnated master, or tulku, when he was three days old. Raised in a monastic environment in rural Tibet, Rinpoche received extensive training in all aspects of Buddhist study and practice, and became a highly trained scholar, or "Khenpo". In particular he spent 18 years living with his root teacher, continually receiving the teachings of the Nyingma lineage.

Anyen Rinpoche has been living in Colorado for nearly 20 years with his wife Allison Choying Zangmo, who is his closest student, co-author of their many books, and English translator for technical teachings. Anyen Rinpoche's organization, Orgyen Khamdroling, has its main center in Denver, CO, and a sister center in Montreal. Anyen Rinpoche teaches all over the United States, Mexico and Canada, and has students from all over the world.

Anyen Rinpoche is the author of several books, including "The Tibetan Yoga of Breath: Breathing Practices for Healing the Body and Cultivating Wisdom," and "Dying with Confidence: A Tibetan Buddhist Guide to Preparing for Death." His publications have been well-received worldwide, and they offer valuable insights into the practice of Tibetan Buddhism and mindfulness. He is known for weaving humor and levity into serious teachings, and making traditional topics accessible for the modern spiritual seeker.
