Join us and a few hundred of your closest friends Saturday, October 30, 2021 for Boston, Georgia's famous Boston Mini-Marathon and Festival!

This event is sponsored by Synovus Bank and has it all: a professional chip-timed half marathon, a 5K run, a 5K walk, a kids corner carnival, a BBQ cook-off, live bands, vendor booths full of crafts, food trucks galore, a parade, and more!

Stroll along Main Street enjoying classic cars and other collectible vehicles, browse the shops and the vendors, and get a bite to eat at one of Boston's restaurants or at one of the food trucks. Kids can have a blast playing in five different bounce houses, perusing the petting zoo, taking photos with Stormtroopers, and having their faces painted!

While there are fees for the run and to be a vendor, the event itself is free!

Run Info
The Boston Half Marathon is a professionally timed race. It starts in downtown Boston, winds through our farmland community and out into the fresh October country air. The entire route is paved, lined with refreshment stands every 2.5 miles, and porta-potties at miles 2, 5, 7, and 11.

The rolling hills are not extreme, though the final stretch can be a nice challenge. At the finish line are healthy eats and drinks for each participant designed to speed recovery so you can get to enjoy the festival of food, drinks, and southern hospitality.

REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY AND PACKET PICK-UP OPENS AT 6:30 a.m. at the Community Center on North Main Street downtown. Parking is available at the Presbyterian Church on West Jefferson Street. For those traveling east on HWY 84, take a right at the Boston Cotton Gin onto Old 84 (this will become W Jefferson St). Races end at 11 a.m.

Note: T-Shirt not guaranteed if registering after Oct. 8, 2021
All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt, and participants of the half marathon will receive a medallion for completing the course!
An awards ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Awards will be given to the first overall male and female of each race.
Register on our website.

Want to be in the Parade?
All entries must register 24 hours in advance (the application is on our website). DUE TO SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, NO CANDY THROWING IS ALLOWED | ALL HORSES MUST HAVE A SCOOPER

Want to be a Vendor?
Food, arts, homemade, handcrafted, and organic vendors are welcome to set up a booth and display or sell their wares at the festival as long as space allows. Exhibits are $30. Food vendors with 110V electricity is $75. Space is limited. Confirmation will be sent when a check or money order is received. Download and complete the Exhibitor/Vendor application on our website.

Want to Volunteer?
We will be hosting a race/walk, parade, BBQ cookoff, arts and crafts vendors, food court, Kids' Karnival, costume contest, car show, and many different forms of entertainment (local bands and performing groups.) Having so many different areas, we are going to need a great deal of manpower for the day of the event. So we are reaching out to anyone that would be willing to lend a hand with certain booths, events, and/or tasks. We would love your help in making this a fun, family-friendly event for everyone involved. *On the day of the event, all volunteers will need to report to the Boston Community Club tent on Main Street.
