Blue Poppy Day, May 20 at the Rhody Garden in Federal Way

The mystical Himalayan blue poppy, Meconopsis, will grace us with its ethereal beauty at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. Celebrate these fabulous flowers Saturday, May 20 from 10 am to 4 pm as you walk through a meadow of blooming blue poppies or stroll along the ADA accessible path through the blue poppy glade. There are two fields of poppies to experience! Enjoy a musical performance, shop in our artists' market and dine on delicious cuisine surrounded by brilliant botanicals nestled in a PNW forest.

This year only, we are offering a special promotion for all our visitors to the Garden. With the price of admission on May 20, you will receive a FREE one-day pass to return to the Garden any time between June 1 – Dec. 31, 2023.

The RSBG Nursery will be stocked with a stunning selection of plants for sale, including Meconopsis (blue poppies). It’s sure to be a great event. We hope to see you there!
