Bethlehem Market Place with live Nativity

Come to a FREE Christmas event at Beth Eden United Methodist Church on December 7!  There is something for the whole family!  In the Sanctuary, three local music groups will entertain you starting at 12:00 pm with the Alleluia Quartet, the Inspiration Quartet at 1:00 pm, and Dan Holmes at 2:00 pm.  There is a Children's Christmas Shoppe for the youngsters of the family to shop and buy gifts for their loved ones without spending a fortune, and a Cookie Walk with homemade cookies sold by the pound.  The biggest feature of the day is the trip to Bethlehem after the birth of Jesus to sign the census to pay your taxes and enjoy the many vendors selling wares in the city before you finally find the newborn Jesus in the stable.  This is our gift to the community for the past 41 years!  Start the season right and join us for the "Love from Above" event on December 7 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Beth Eden UMC at 3210 Huffman Blvd. Rockford, IL.
