The Maine Irish Heritage Center is hosting the third Annual “Best of All Things Irish in Maine” awards, which will take place on November 19th. This is our major fundraiser for 2022, and all proceeds will support our mission to keep the Irish arts and rich culture flourishing in Maine. In addition to celebrating 2022’s winning bands, singers, and performers, we will add a new category – “The Best Irish Beers of Maine.” Maine breweries will showcase their best Irish-style beers, and attendees will choose the winners, who will be announced at the end of the evening.
The Best of All Things Irish will be held in the magnificent old St. Dominic’s Church, on the corner of State Street and Danforth Ave in Portland, now the home of the Maine Irish Heritage Center. Rarely open in the evenings to the public, it will be an amazing venue for a celebration of the best of Irish-inspired music, food, and beer.
The live show and Irish craft beer fest will be on Saturday, Nov 19th, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Doors will open at 5:00 for sponsors, their guests, and VIP ticket holders. The show will stream on YouTube the following day for friends near and far.
Tickets: General Admission $60, VIP with early access at 5 pm, food truck voucher and swag $100, Entertainment only $20. GA and VIP ticket holders will enjoy unlimited pours of all the Irish beer on offer. Some of Portland’s best food trucks will be stationed on Gray Street, right outside the front doors.
